Radical Love is the answer:
The goal of the Radical Love Festival is to celebrate queer joy, foster community healing, and amplify voices through art, music, and empowerment, ESPECIALLY in a time when those identities and voices are being threatened. We believe in creating inclusive spaces where all people— especially those often marginalized— can feel seen, supported, and inspired. Co-hosted by a coalition of queer community organizers and the beautiful Wilson’s Farm & Orchard, the Radical Love Festival is a gathering of hearts and voices, a day where music becomes medicine and joy becomes resistance.

We created this all-day event line-up with intention: to open your heart, to heal your wounds, to inspire your vision and to connect you to like-minded souls on a mission to make the world a kinder, safer place for us all to thrive. Oh, and have so much fun while doing it.
So we will start the day getting to know each other (we have people traveling in from across the country)! Come expecting to make some new best friends!
We’ll set a collective intention for the vibes we commit to create now and going forward as we take this experience with us into our broader lives and communities.
We’ll ground and stretch with yoga and a soundbath.
We’ll reconnect to our spirit and our values with self-love activities including a voice activation, a guided highest self meditation, and inspiring talks from esteemed queer mindset and spiritual teachers.
We’ll challenge ourselves to connect more deeply with our neighbors through an incredible collective intimacy workshop (no, not like that— we’re talking spiritual intimacy, not sexual) where we challenge ourselves to bring down our trauma-induced walls and suspiciousness of our neighbors and instead learn to really SEE and SIT with our neighbors of all walks of life.
We’ll frolick through the flower fields, make flower crowns, take photos, paint our faces, hoola-hoop, bean bag, enjoy Wilson’s Farm-made Cider (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic)… and VIBE OUT as our community musicians kick off the party for an evening of amazing music, dancing, and fun.

Whatever Mike is an up-and-coming queer & nonbinary artist based in LA, known for their heart-centered performances that bring people together in celebration and healing.
We’re still raising funds to fly our headliner, cover production costs, and ensure that this community event is accessible and unforgettable for all. We are looking for sponsors, big and small, local and national, to help us pull off this beautiful event. Any excess funds raised will go to Iowa One and the Iowa Trans Mutual Aid Fund.
